Poster Contest – The Durango Cowboy Gathering is seeking original artwork for their 2008 20th Anniversary poster. All mediums welcome. The preferred image would be the artist’s interpretation of the original 1989 poster image for the Durango Cowboy Gathering. Over $2,000 in prizes with top prize of $500. Sept. 25 – “Unhooked Again,” the decorated bra show to benefit the SJ Medical Foundation is looking for artists to decorate bras for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Make your own or decorate one already made. The bras will be for sale and some for silent auction. All proceeds go to the SJ Medical Foundation. Show dates: Oct. 2–27.
